EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This case study is about demand and supply of organic food especially fruits and vegetables. It is focused on the effects of the changing level of health and nutrition awareness of consumers and the demand and supply of these organic foods in the _____________________ ( please insert the name of specific city or place where you want to conduct your case study ) for the year ____ to____. Specifically, the objective of this case study is to examine the degree or extent of the effect of the consumers’ level of concern about their health and nutrition on the demand and supply of organic food especially fruits and vegetables in the .

In order to achieve this specific objective, the researcher collected primary and secondary information from different agencies like US Department of Agriculture and used related studies that examined the trend in supply and demand of organic food especially fruits and vegetables in the market. Interviews with consumers were also conducted to get and assess their changing level of health and nutrition awareness. With regard to the quantity of fruits and vegetables supplied and demanded in the market, farmers and suppliers were interviewed.

All data gathered were treated and analyzed using statistical methods. This case study concluded that the demand and supply of organic foods such as fruits and vegetables is affected by the change in consumers’ preferences when it comes to their food consumption. The results show that there was an increasing level of health and nutrition awareness in the consumers of ________________ (please insert the name of specific city or place where you want to conduct your case study) from year _____to ______.
