The multiple listing service produces a listing book twice in each month (on the 15th and 30th), that contains information on all listings. These books are sent to all of the real estate agents. Sometimes agents and owners decide to alter information about a listing, like reducing the price, changing previous information on the house, or signifying that the house is sold.
