Lawyers can apply the negotiation skills to get to the point of the win-win situation. Dispute resolution through the internal department of public relations is considered as an easy way of resolving disputes. Most of the employees are familiar with the people working in the public relations department, therefore, it becomes quite easier for them to communicate their grievances (Dennis).Fernando Figueredo, head of multicultural practice for Porter Novelli, suggests that there are some unique characteristics shared by three major minority groups.

These groups include Hispanics, African and Asian Americans. These three groups are going to control the majority of the businesses of the USA. Frequent immigrations to the USA on part of the people belonged to these groups suggests that the USA is regarded as a platform from where entrepreneurs can unleash their potential. Corporations in general while FMCG’s, in particular, should start to recognize these groups as a separate market segment which have different needs and wants as compared to their American counterparts.

Therefore marketers should try to reach Hispanics, Africans, and Asians in a culturally relevant manner. This technique will support the re-purchase behavior of consumers. There are many corporations that are trying to reach consumers in the way they want. Mc Donald and Pepsi are among such corporations. Therefore it can be concluded that diversity among consumers should be viewed as an opportunity to earn more profits rather than considering it a threat (Dennis). The use of social networking websites is growing at an exponential rate.

The workplace is also not safe from the use of social networking websites. Therefore employers have to take steps so that employees can concentrate on the work. I believe that employers are right if the are blocking social networking websites during office hours. An employee is expected to give his full time and energy when he or she is on the job. The employee should not consider it something negative because office timings are those timings in which he has to contribute towards the overall productivity of the organization.

If I will not be allowed by my employer to browse the social networking website then I will not consider it as a punishment. However, I regard it as a good step on part of the employer to give hundred percent dedications to the work. Employees should be given trainings regarding the ethical use of social networking websites. Here the ethical use means the right time and place for the use of such websites. However, if the employer thinks that sometimes it becomes necessary for employees to coordinate with friends at these websites then organizations should reserve some computers for this purpose so that they can be used for a short span of time.

Public relations have a very important role in the development of effective communication in organizations. They should promote the ethically correct behavior in the organization. The public relations department of different organizations has to prove that this particular department is not involved in lying, spin-doctoring, and espionage. They should frequently arrange meetings with the stakeholders so that they get awareness about how the business operates. The promotion of corporate social responsibility will certainly enhance the image of the public relations department.
