I feel contented at the end of the day not because of what I learnt something but do the fact that I make my future brighter. Additionally, I do what fits both my strengths and interests. These include singing, drawing and story telling. The workmates assist me to share my interests and talents in a free environment. Moreover, I have a purpose to life not due to the fact that the career is not only a source of income for me but because I find peace and happiness in what I do. Additionally, despite work I find time to spend with friends and relatives. This makes be to love my work more as I am not denied the opportunity (Rath and Harter 123). Career Well-Being (WB) Measurement Approach/Methodology I ask my parents, friends and teachers to describe me and my actions when am at work or when pursuing my personal career. My parents reported that I love my work but I usually find time to interact with them. My friend said that I enjoyed working and find happiness in doing the same. The colleagues at work indicated that I work without any form of supervision and that I found time to interact with the rest despite my busy schedules. The setting was in the work environment and after work when relaxing with relatives, friends and colleagues. Throughout my career, I discover that some elements frustrate me. One of these aspects is when parents fail to assist their children with school work or prepare them for school. My strength at home is that am in a position to manage my time effectively and balance the time I spend at work and time I spend with families and friends. Additionally, I have the talent to sing and tell stories an aspect that makes my work enjoyable and fulfilling. This is due to the fact that I can easily teach the children various songs in addition to telling them amusing stories. Therefore, doing what I like doing have greatly helped in improving my career wellbeing. Moreover, to the fact that I do relate well with fellow teachers, am in a position to learn from them and apply the same in my work as a teacher. Some teachers have better skills than I do but I usually try to emulate them so that I can improve on my skills too. The school has partnership programs whereby teachers from the neighboring attend (Rath and Harter 123). These programs aim at ensuring that teachers share skills and learn from each other in addition to sharing problems that affect them in the course of performing their duties. My Personal Well-Being Baseline: Impacts and Reactions My social wellbeing is always impacted by individuals who are close to me. These include friends, relatives and colleague at work. The parents have been a source of motivation, an aspect that has made me to achieve my goals in life. Additionally, friends have been a source of inspiration to lead a healthy life and ensure that I am positive about life. Higher level of social being therefore had assisted me to be in a position to establish closer relationships that are important in enjoying and achieving the goals people have in life in addition to living a healthy life. This can be proven by the fact that every year when the schools are off sessions I found the opportunity to organize for holidays and even attend social gatherings. I do not miss church on Sundays and I join friends and relatives in every social gathering. This assists in strengthening the existing relationship with them. Additionally, the same makes me to have sufficient energy to go on with my daily activities without losing hope. Thus my social wellbeing trend has a high score and the trend is very stable which means that am not suffering or struggling but rather thriving towards success and health life. Discussion of Well-Being Assessment Data: Patterns and Self-Observations As a tradition need to meet with friends every Sunday after church for the purpose of bonding in addition to ensuring that we constantly keep in touch either through phone or via mails. This is done putting in mind that it is hard to break traditions due to the fact that if they are practiced constantly they are likely to be schedules in the daily programs (Rath and Harter 123). In order to discover what works best for me, I sought the help of a fellow teacher and tried working together with her for a period of one week. Through this I discovered that I enjoy working with others and I find it fulfilling just like working alone. I have discovered the importance of blending with others as this makes me not to be in a position learn new ideas from them in addition to not experiencing lousy days. However, there is need to control the meetings in order to avoid constant distractions. Additionally do the fact that I did not expect one particular person to do everything for me; it is certain that my social wellbeing scores highly. Additionally, I always pay attention on the contribution from friends and fellow teachers and utilize the same to improve my wellbeing (Rath and Harter 123). Career Well-Being: Program Enhancement Goals The friends and fellow workers motivate me every time we meet. Additionally, the relationships enable me to have a better insight of what life is. Moreover, parents and friends assist me to remain focus in my career an aspect that makes progress in my career and perceive life as fulfilling. The fact remain that money is not a source of happiness and the same should not be used in determining ones satisfaction with life. I discovered that the amount of many that an individual makes does not impact much on the overall wellbeing of a person. What matters more is how one manages the little he or she makes in addition to ensuring that he/she is financially secure. Based on a one week track with the help of the relatives, friends and workmates, I discovered that I have a high financial wellbeing do the fact that I can efficiently manage all of my personal finances (Rath and Harter 123). This is proven by the fact that I spend wisely. For the last week, the track indicated that I do not purchase material things other than experiences and this has been proven to be true by my friends and even relatives by looking at the shopping list for the past one week. Additionally, I carry out charity activities whereby I give out part of what I have earned. Moreover, the week track indicates that I am fully satisfied by the kind of life I live. This is further proven by both friends and relatives who have indicated a high score in the track sheet when asked to tick whether am happy with the standard life that I live. Additionally due to the fact that I do not have any form of debts, I am in a position to live a life that is free from stress. From the track sheet I was in a position to realize that I enjoyed financial security that was secure and as a result I was in a position to do whatever I wanted to do without necessarily asking for money from friends, relatives or even workmates. Additionally, the track indicated that I have the ability to spend more time with people without getting worried (Rath and Harter 123). Therefore, in the financial well-being sheet the trend seem to be improving below stabling at scale 8. The score for the same also remained high indicating that my financial wellbeing is good. Program Implementation (Post-Personal Well-Being Baseline): Results/Findings Discussion Due to the fact that I strongly admire my parents for their financial plan, I decided to ask them how they achieve this. According to them, it is important for every person to have a budget and ensure that he/ she does not spend more than what is stated in the budget plan (Rath and Harter 123). In the first week, I created a budget and noticed that I have followed the budget strictly. Additionally, I ensured that the budget had to fit on the expenses by not spending everything that I earned without making any savings. In order to achieve this, i borrowed worksheets from friends and workmates. I ensured that the budget strategy that I adopted to keep was not stressing in any way. Due to the fact that choices that individuals make influences their lives in one way or the other. Therefore, it is important for people to make choices that are likely to influence their physical health in a positive manner. Therefore in order to achieve this I ensure that I exercise regularly and keep a diet that is healthy in nature. Additionally, I ensured that I had enough sleep so that I could enough energy to perform other duties. This is due to the fact that individuals who have a high score in physical wellbeing are likely to live longer and manage t heir lives in a manner that they are likely to put certain diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure at a bay (Rath and Harter 123). Using a one week track and with the help of friends I wanted to access my physical well-being. Through the track, it was noticeable that I do exercise on a daily basis, an aspect that proves that I score high in the physical wellbeing. Additionally, am in a position to take part in all activities that all my age mates take parts in. Additionally, I noticed that I usually look and feel better every morning and ready to take part in my daily activities. Thus, in this respect the physical being seemed to be study and score highly at 10 an aspect that proven that I had a high physical wellbeing. For a period of one week, I have to track my overall physical wellbeing to ensure that it scores highly in a manner that will assist me to handle my teaching career effectively. On a daily basis I ensured that I get a minimum of 8 hours sleep. Instead of reading or watching TV, I ensured that I exercised more than merely sleeping or sitting down. Moreover, I had to join activities such as yoga or other stretching exercises in order to ensure that I stay physically fit. Future Implications/Impacts/Spillover Effects of Program on Me/Others It is essential for every individual to feel safe and secure in the places which they reside in. This can only be attained if there is clean air to breathe and water to drink. Therefore in order to ensure that I had a high score in the community wellbeing, I ensured that the environment and the home I stayed in remained clean with good ventilation. More importantly, I identify areas in which can also assist the community by providing services such as cleaning and arranging the church. This contributed positively to the well being of my career by ensuring deeper social interaction which further enhanced meaning and purpose resulting into a lifestyle that is active and that impact positively on career. Additionally, I had the feeling of pride when I took part in the development of the community by ensuring that even adults had basic education. Additionally, I actively take part in church and I have joined choir and drama groups. Using a track record of one week, I noticed that the score for my community wellbeing is considerable high and the trend is stable starting at a low level of 6 and stabling at 7 (Rath and Harter 123). Summary Statement and Conclusions In conclusion, as a teacher, I contribute to the well-being of the community by ensuring that I actively take part I the music events and story telling competitions. During weekends, I actively take part in clean the church compound and even our home and thus, community wellbeing does not only score highly but is also stable.
