Appearing in the Issue 2008) of Crime Prevention. 2- The research digest emphasizes that the juvenile ages are much influenced by the violent activities and according to a research the involvement of the juveniles of ages from 12 to 17 in nonfatal violent crimes are more than the adults. The research shows that the rate of violent crimes in the juveniles of ages from 12 to 14 is more than the juveniles with ages from 15 to 17. However, the rate in the juveniles’ crimes has faced a decrease of 55% during the period of 1993 to 2003, while after the year 1980; the increase in the juvenile crime was 12%. However, the rate of juveniles from ages 16 to 18 is 16.8%, which is more than the juveniles with ages less than 16. Schools can play an important role in educating children about violent crimes prevention. The violent crimes prevention programs gave to be offered to all level of schools. Some programs can be designed in such a way to influence particular age group children, while some can be included in the texts books to archive certain set of goals. Before the implementation of the violent crimes prevention programs, it should be important to justify the quality of the execution, how the programs are executed, what methods are involved in the execution of the crime prevention programs, what effects are expected from the programs, for how long the programs will remain valid, are the programs are focused to achieve short lived goals and how the programs impact the normal lives of the students. The programs are categorized according to the age groups of the student. The general programs are designed for the students with ages from 6 to 17. 3- I think that the increase juvenile crime rate cannot be associated with the schools only. The environment at home also influences the children to indulge in such activities that may harm the personality and behavior of the child. Schools do have a role in training and education children but the initial years the child spends at home may influence him to be violent or behave harshly. Schools are important in determining the needs of the students and impose the violent crime prevention methods according to the behavior of the majority of the students. However, educating the students at very early stage about behaviors will be a better method for the prevention of violent crimes. 4- The source very well explants the research conducted at various stages. The implementation of the programs will lessen the violent juvenile crime rates; however, environment may influence a juvenile to commit a violent crime but it is not such that the education will ensure that no juvenile crime will take place. The education will lessen the severity and intensity of the crime. The research journal has a major contribution in the evaluation of the juvenile crimes and what strategy worked well in different situations. Violence is inacceptable and unbearable in the social setups. Schools must maintain proper discipline to avoid any violent acts of the students. Keeping arms at home may bring physical as well as legal risks. If there is a proper reason of keeping the ammunition, ensure to keep the ammunition in safe and out of the reach of younger family members. Talk to your children on regular basis and evaluate if they are involved in any violent act. Be role model for your children. Inform the children about the behavioral limits and inform that they would get punishment for any bad behavior and rewarded for the good behavior. Try not to tolerate any violent behavior of the child. Help children the children to evaluate the problem with cool mind. Support the school activities that ensure that the children be on right track. The students must not participate in any harsh act willingly or unwillingly. Students should not support ant violent act. They should report the act to authorities. Talk to your parents about your anger and try to sort out how you can control the anger. Watch for any criminal act and report if necessary. Teachers should report the violent act to the school management. Teachers should not tolerate such an act. Teachers should involve the parents in student’s progress and education. Try to control the situation before any incident. 3- I think that the teachers and the parents are considered as the two major pillars in the growth of the children. Teachers and parents have effective roles. Teachers are important in education the children about how to behave socially and parents are important in making the children to behave accordingly or as advised by the teachers and elders. The growth of the children depends on both the pillars. However, teachers must care about the behavior of the student in the class and in the school. If the teacher finds a student in a violent act, he should report immediately to the authorities and inform the situation to the parents. On the other hand the teachers should have a firm control on the students. He should have a good moral character. 4- The article emphasized on the behavior of the students and how the teachers, parents, students and other can do to stop the school violence. The important aspect of the article is that it involves all the major pillars of the society that may influence the children to be indulged in any such act. Teachers and parents play the most important role in the development of the child and thus the parents and the teachers should be the role models. Parents should act sensibly and inform the children that they will be punished for the wrong act. On the other hand parents should maintain a proper discipline at home to avoid such activity.
