Though Grand Theft Auto is a very interesting and engaging video game, it could hurt the impressionable mindset of teenagers owing to its violent nature. Exposure to the criminal scenarios presented in the game may instigate some teenagers to engage in violence and crime.

Response- It is a known fact that teenagers being endowed with relatively more impressionable minds as compared to the other sections of society are more susceptible to engage in violence, by seeing and experiencing violence depicted in movies and video games. Statutory norms banning the sale of blatantly violent video games to children should be propounded and applied at the earliest. If teenagers are not protected from the detrimental influence of violence-ridden games like Grand Theft Auto, it is bound to have a bad influence on social stability. Read More
