Prophet (P.B.U.H) strived to keep minimum loss in his wars. A writer mentioned in his book that only a thousand people were killed in all his wars. Islam respects blood and tells Muslims to avoid bloodshed at all times and costs. Wars are harmful for everyone. It kills people, destroys the economy and results in a decline in civilizations. Muslims are not even allowed to kill the prisoners of war or ill treat them and they have to release them after taking a ransom amount from them. Once after a war Prophet (P.B.U.H) told the literate prisoners to teach ten Muslim children for a certain period of time in exchange of freedom.

True Muslim leaders are known for characteristics such as peace, kindness and forgiveness.
