I am writing to you today to consider my application for transfer. The admission’s decision was to turn down my transfer request because I did not finish one major requirement during my last course. While I admit that this is true, there were some unforeseen circumstances that caused this to happen. I did not pass one major requirement for my last course because I had to take time off from study to go to my grandfather’s funeral. It was in another country and lasted several days, meaning that I missed out on valuable study time.

This inadvertently caused me to miss out on some key concepts and learning aspects, which would have come in useful for my final exams.I know that I have missed a key requirement, but be rest assured that with a new dedication and focus I plan to only excel from here on out. Thank you for considering my transfer appeal and I look forward to hearing from you in earnest.
