This is the second point that will be discussed in the meeting, which will take the form of explaining to the employees the demoralizing and demeaning effects of workplace hostilities on the employees (Simlin, 2006). The supervisor will explain the impact of the employee hostilities as a contributing factor to poor departmental performance, since the employees are demoralized by the hostility and made to feel unappreciated. This in turn lowers their enthusiasm and energy, making them less productive (Harold & Kumar, 2012).
This is the third point that will be discussed by the supervisor, aimed at helping the employee understand the desired organizational values of the factory in relation to workplace ethics and cultural diversity. Such values make the factory employ workers from different religious and cultural background without discriminating (Rodriguez, 2006). The supervisor will explain the value of diversity within a workplace in enhancing productivity and performance. The supervisor will also explain the duty and responsibility of the employees to embrace the organizational values, and as such cease the hostilities (Simlin, 2006).
