Strategic Plan Document For Tender memory care long-term home Prepared by Third march HSCI 6241_Session Number Chapter VI - Quality and Continuous Improvement: Health Outcomes and Organizational Effectiveness As a part of the most controlled industry in the country, MFA has to ensure that they sustain and continuously improve quality of services to stay afloat in the industry. Quality and safety should be the priority for MFA to serve their clients better. To involve families in patient’s treatment and care is one of the policies that the faculty has. The national Quality Strategy Priorities states that each individual and household is engaged in his or her care (Harkey, 2013). AHRQ has laid some rules and recommendations that help the faculty to continuously improve the quality of services. As an independent faculty, MFA is dedicated to ensuring that they provide quality, safe and affordable medical care for everyone who steps in one of the clinics all over the Washington, D.C area. The faculty has invested in training and recruiting new doctors that bring with them new ways of dealing with crucial cases that may arise in the clinics. Being an association of physicians, the faculty covers a wider scope of the medical industry. Therefore, there is, need to invest resources in training the members with the new ways of treatment. In addition, the faculty has to invest in acquiring new technology that eases the process of treatment. This will help the faculty to continually add to the experience and the range of the treatments that it offers. The technology will have to be in line with the regulations that have been stipulated by the FDA on medications and technology. Building in the business process The Business process that is currently used by the organization, works well for the organization in pushing its agenda. However, as times change, new regulations on the business process of the industry forces the faculty to adjust so that they can full fill the legal obligations that have been set. The business process has to be on point so that the faculty cannot land in problems. Investing in a good business process might seem as the best option to improve the services offered by the faculty. However, the business process needs to be in line with the needs of the faculty and the regulations set by the FDA. The success of the faculty needs to be in line with the appropriate FDA guidelines (ETQ, 2012). Swift development of business process software’s that provide solutions to the changing market demands need to adhere to these regulations. It is important for the faculty to research well before employing the services of any software. The faculty has ensured that the technology for the business process has fulfilled all the regulation set by the FDA. Several companies that offer business process software help the faculty manage the business better. These companies may sell or lease software’s to companies in the medical industry. MFA is continuously updating its business process as more physicians and clients seek services from the faculty. The business process is reviewed yearly to determine the changes that need to be done for the process to run efficiently. The process of building on the business process starts with the research of the current business process. During this process, an analysis of the current business process is done and the problems that were encountered are listed. The analysis draws out a road map of the steps that are needed to improve on the current business process. After analysis, the faculty engages in the research on the current trends in the medical industry. This helps the faculty in researching on the best business process to employ for the running of the business. The research also involves contacting several companies that offer the service to get information that are more detailed on the business process software is that they offer. One company that the faculty contacts for their business process needs is IBM. IBM offers a business process management system called BPM. BPM business process manager helps the medical industry improve business processes and retort quickly to changing regulatory requirements. The management software allows the latest main processes and arrangements to support new medical practices, organizational standards, rate compensation procedures, and administration guidelines (IBM, 2014). After getting the best software for the faculty to use, the faculty embarks in implementation of the business process by training the staff on the use of the business process. Improving On Customer Service Improvement of the business process will add on improving the customer service. Customer service is one of the key components in the success of MFA. Good customer service helps in attracting more traffic to the faculty clinics. It also reassures the customer of the dedication to better healthcare by the faculty. The most unsatisfied client is the greatest source of learning (Zaibak, 2010). The faculty relies most on customer reviews and comments to improve on the customer service. These feedbacks lets the faculty analyses their customer service to come up with remedies to any issues that arise. The faculty also invests in training programs that help the staff learn more on about how to treat customers better. The faculty has formulated a questionnaire that helps them assess the quality of their services. This questioner is given to clients at the end of their encounter with the clinic staff. The questioner is optional for the client to fill and after the questioner is filled, the clients are asked to drop the answered questioner in a box, none of the clients are asked to write their names on the questioner. The faculty analysis the questioners and comes up with strategies that will allow the staff to improve on their customer service. As a strategy to improve on customer service, the faculty allows doctors to do follow-ups with their clients either by calling them or visiting them in their homes. This even reassures the customer more about the faculty commitment to providing better and affordable health care. Impacts Of The Services To The Community That Is Served Providing better customer service is one of the positive impacts that the faculty has on the outcome of the health care. Improving on the services that the faculty offers on their clinics has had a positive impact on the people that are served in the clinics that the faculty owns. Patients are endorsing our clinics to many other people. Because of the policies that the faculty is based on, more people can now afford better healthcare at affordable prices. It is safe to assume that the faculty has ensured that the community around it is healthy and they have a solution to health problems that affect members of their community. MFA services have led the government to improve on their health care policies to provide affordable health care. The differentiator for most healthcare companies or products is the client, and more focus should be put into satisfying the client (Merlino, 2014). MFA is committed to providing quality, safe and affordable health care for its clients. The faculty has come up with initiatives that will help in improving the services that it is committed to offer to its clients. These initiatives are in line with the national quality strategy priorities. Initiative: Wellness And Safety Programs Work environment, safety and wellness plans benefit recruiters and their Business office safety and wellness plans benefit organizations plus the employees. As one moves in a particular program, it is usually implemented independently of the other, youll find proven improved results when the two tend to be combined directly into one overarching Employee Health, Risk-free practices, and Well-being plan. The faculty has received the steps to employ its staff and customers on safety inside the clinics and of their homes. Research shows that incorporated programs result in a healthier, more productive business office. Benefits in the direction of employer contain better staff retention premiums, reduced costs associated with high turnover such as training, fewer cases of sick leave and handicap claims, greater productivity, and far better good quality of providers. Our ideas in regards to a healthy business office have changed from the great virtually exclusive target the physical place of work (primarily on-the-job basic safety concerns) to some more all natural concept, which encompasses the psychosocial and personal wellbeing factors. One result is how the workplace is going to be increasingly used like a setting for one’s promotion regarding employee health and fitness and removing health hobbies. This brand-new focus is going to be comprehensive within scope, encompassing evaluation and development of employees overall health besides occupational personal injury prevention. There is an increased direct exposure of plans that support and accommodate previous workers and frequent diseases or possibly disabilities. The expanded perception of a healthy workplace aligns using the World Wellbeing Organizations description of health like a state regarding complete actual, mental and social well-being, instead associated with merely lacking disease (Jefferson, 2012). Initiative 2 Providing Low Cost Medical Services Offering affordable as well as accessible medical for just about every citizen will be a challenge in the future, keeping because the climbing costs. Different cost drivers within the health care are the expenses regarding new technologies and treatments, rising prices of medicine prescription as well as plummeting hospital charges. Because it is visible, there is no control around the driving medical costs, which are out regarding the common person’s race, some initiatives need to be addressed in an effort to streamline and reduce the soaring prices of medical (srp, 2012). As people, we bear an increased share of medical costs and will demand far more quality. Ironically, the percent of those people who are uninsured for the majority of is climbing. The facts are medical insurance costs in the U.S. are expensive, and to effectively control the costs, long-term solutions should be planned. One such solution would be to provide affordable medical to people with all amenities within their reach. Many of the insurance companies are searching for their very own profits without initiative may be taken for you to monitor the particular rising prices. As an element of the effort, to produce affordable medical, MFA has started discount plans that include huge discount around the costs incurred towards health proper care. As one of the nations quickest growing medical industry, MFA offers medical benefits for you to everyone, at an inexpensive price without restrictions. MFA offers services, for instance, dental proper care, vision proper care, chiropractic proper care and medicines, which benefits the folks to lower their costs to some large magnitude. Initiative 3 Improving The Quality Of Service That The MFA Offers Especially Screening Technology The introduction associated with affordable and convenient healthcare imaging services along with government and charity-led initiatives to boost awareness of the risks associated with cancer possess helped to ensure more people than ever are currently having standard imaging assessments performed. Advances throughout technology have seen medical imaging equipment grow to be smaller, safer and cheaper to operate recently, and images could be produces associated with excellent clarity utilizing a fraction from the doses associated with radiation compared to have formerly been doable. This permits patients to possess regular mammograms carried out with little risk to the health. Modern pictures are cost effective to use in private radiology treatment centers. Many companies are set upward in cities outside important cities, ensuring a much better percentage of the population has use of the finest radiology gear. Improved use of quality healthcare facilities can make screening while quick and convenient as it can be. It is important that while services are available, that your message is actually spread about the importance of experiencing regular screening process checks and how beginning detection associated with cancer may greatly help the survival rates because of this devastating condition. As a cancer is permitted to progress, it turns into harder to deal with. Catching cancer inside the early periods of growth is for that reason essential to be able to maximize your probability associated with treatment becoming successful and with the patient making a full retrieval. Recent seen celebrity instances of bust cancer have likewise helped to boost awareness of the disease and have encouraged youthful women to get started with a software of standard screening assessments for bust cancer (Pharm 2013). Initiative 4: Awareness On Treatment Of Chronic Diseases Chronice treatment of this chronic disease. This initiative has cut in the mortality rate from these diseases. Now more people are aware of these chronic diseases and they are able to get treatment for them. A lot of the population perishes from these chronic diseases (Vogel, 2010) References ETQ (2014).
