As a result, the people’s lives are altered. However, these are sometimes motivated by technology, but some time provokes technological innovation (Gahm & Gregory, 11).There is an international scale of alteration which is taking place simultaneously with fresh technologies. This gives rise to nervousness between individuals and governments, and between globalization and cultural diversity. In the world today, there have been very many computer driven revolutions from the development of personal computers, invention of graphical browsers and then the development of the web (Pflaum & William, 74).

Computers have altered part in, if not all our lives. This is evident as there are changes from how we carry out our daily activities such as buying of goods, and paying bills among other activities. It has also enabled us to inherit virtual worlds with persons from different parts of the world (Cullingford, Cedric and Nusrat, 81).This has enabled people learn diverse cultures even without one on one interaction. These substitutions of the older ways have brought a lot of radical changes. For example, Raymond Kurzweil’s had a visionary perspective of the future world.

He believed that the end of human civilization is 35 years from now. This was according to his calculations. Computers are becoming faster and intelligent than humans. It is evident from Kurzweil that whatever a human brain can think and work out, the computer can work it out even better. Kurzweil goes on to compare a human scientist with a more powerful computer with capabilities of working out scientific problems. In his ideology, he believed that one day we will merge with these all grown and evolved powerful computers and become cyborgs.

On the same breathe, he believed on the possibility that computers will one day turn against us and annihilate the human race (Lev Grossman, 2011). This he called the singularity effect. Use of robots will
