People assign different roles but have a common mission and vision to complete a predetermined result (Kragen). Therefore, for this to be achieved people have to constantly communicate with each other to ensure that they remain on course of the organization guidelines. Moreover, the family and society are always engaging to bring out the best among family members (Kragen). It has been observed that continuous communication maintain cohesion among the nation and where there is a breakdown of interpersonal communication there is tension that leads to conflict.

Moreover, the process of communication is influenced by what one says (Interpersonal Communication and Personality). The respondent analyses the message he receives and responds to it appropriately (Kragen). ‘Interpersonal communication is irreversible’ (Kragen). Once people act or communicate with other people it is not possible to erase or reverse the process. For example, when a person sends out an email it is not possible to withdraw what has been sent. Moreover, it is impossible to forget peoples behaviors learned through communication exchanges.

Furthermore, it is impossible to undo an act or unsee things already seen. The communication process in interpersonal communication cannot be restarted and presenting a new version of a story does not erase a previous good or bad episode. Therefore, what people communicate to become a behavioral sequence of interpersonal communication (Kragen).
