One of the stages will involve not only the policy analyst who is an expert in the field but the locals who are affected as well. Several policies are formulated and debated and the best chosen and implemented by law (Mayer, Daalen & Bots, 2004).Policy analysis process is a slow and tedious one not to mention very challenging and hence demands dedication and patience as well as knowledge and expertise. The policy analysts need to handle the whole process with caution as the solution is long lasting and will affect many people as well as seek as much assistance and advice as possible (Dye, 2010).

They should learn to give advice to policymakers only after clear deliberation of the issue to avoid misleading. The same way policy analysis requires evidence to precede to implementation stage, the policy analyst requires evidence before they can make any final decisions on implementation of the policy. The evidence will include information from the affected party.
