It strengthens and enhances relationships with the assigned clients. In CEP Program 4, the primary aspect that is personally relevant to the daily work activities in my routine is the development and regulation of modern drugs.

The understanding of the aspect of modern drugs development and regulation is essential in the sense that it points out to producers and distributors of the same the new medicinal changes that take place in the industry (Chamberlain, 2013). In my line of duty as an Inside Sales Representative, the main challenge that presents itself while I interact with the clients has often been concerning the developments and regulations about the cosmetics and pharmaceutical products that I promote to them. The clients are usually concerned about new replacements to the already plastic surgery cosmetics that they are using and recommending to their patients. An understanding of this program in its entirety is imperative to explain the regulations that appertain to the pharmaceutical products being produced by Allergan and sold to the surgeons (Mathieu & Milne, 2008).

Subsequently, the aspects of development and regulation of modern drugs are essential in the manner that it points out to the surgeons who are knowledgeable about drugs to the clinical trials that the drugs were subjected to to assess the efficiency (Chamberlain, 2013). As a sales representative for such new drugs, this information acts as a buffer to the already existent knowledge of medical drugs that I know; hence, enhancing my sales capabilities to interact and convince the clients of the successful stages the drugs have passed and the regulations that they have adhered to. A surgeon performing plastic surgery would be interested in knowing whether the prescribed drug he is about to apply to the patient underwent a full pharmacokinetic study before its approval (Asperheim & Favaro, 2012).

Knowledge of this information will greatly change my conduct of the professional activities I do about sales and understanding of pharmacology, in that it would enable me to be prepared with adequate informational knowledge relating to new drugs that I promote for purchase to different clients including surgeons. Additionally, the information on this aspect will enhance my understanding of the need for ensured regulations of all medicinal items as proof of their authenticity (Craig & Stitzel, 2004).
