Extract of sample "The Genius of Mad Men"

This is portrayed in the vices he committed such as excessive drinking, smoking and womanizing. However, he still managed to solve the problems many people considered as vices against him. “Mad Men” is a genius presentation as depicted in Draper’s characters. Even though all the drinking and smoking were a bit misunderstood in the movie, it is accurate in presenting a contemporary family life. For example, Don’s drinking character in the office is highly evident in the modern working environments.

A couple of men in the office, for instance, open a bottle of scotch in the afternoons to revitalize themselves. Even though drinking on the clock as portrayed in “Mad Men” is not as much as it used to be in the 1960s, the film accurately depicts agency behavior in the 1960s.
