Extract of sample "A Diary of Classical Music"

A Diary ical Music I never really thought ical music as something that would make me think of characteristic components, but indeed it does. Every piece of music I suppose has characteristics but the question is whether they are actually conveyed properly in interpretation. This assignment asked me to listen to a classical music station for one hour and accordingly, I found myself pacing about my apartment at some ungodly hour, made myself some tea, sat, and I listened to 104.9 XLNC which is a radio station that plays classical music continuously.

Because I am revising this assignment, I started all over again. The lost of pieces I listened to are: 1. Fantasia by John Dowland 2. Concerto for Four Violins by Giuseppe Violentini 3. Prelude 1 by Gershwin 4. Symphony 25 by Mozart 5. In the Steppes of Central Asia by Borodin 6. Piano Concerto OP.13 NO.4, by Bach I found that classical music is comprised of many characteristics. The piano in my opinion is the instrument that sets the basic mood of the song. I listened to a piece by Beethoven and thought that the piano brought my mood up or down depending on what key was being played.

The lower keys incite fear and foreboding while the upper scales tend to incite anticipation or joy to life while the violin makes me fall asleep. I find that the cello is the guide of each piece that I heard. It leads the other instruments into the main score but allows the trumpets and clarinets to take their own frolic and detour.
