I love Franz Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden”. After listening to the Alban Berg Quartet play this piece, I could find no faults. I cannot tell you much about the musicians. My bad habit of closing my eyes whenever I am listening to classical music prevents me from describing the musicians themselves. However I can describe the wonderful music this Quartet played. The Berg Quartet mastered this piece. I have nothing but praise for this concert. I listened to this Quartet online. After opening the clip, I closed my eyes and listened to the opening of ‘Allegro’. The three main key ranges of D minor, F major, and A minor were hit perfectly by these musicians. The Cello created dark images in my mind, while the violin and viola placed my nerves on edge. I loved the ups and downs. This piece is a wonderful work of contrasting music between the highs and the lows. When listening to this concert, I always imagine how Schubert must have felt composing this piece. ...

The classic era of music lasted over a period of 70 years. Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven were the principal composers. The sonata and the sonata form of musical of writing as in the Concerto of Haydn and the Prague Symphony of Mozart were both written in three movements.

Development of music in the classical period is a result of developments in the periods preceding it. Each period had music of its kind, which differed from the other in terms of composition and textual input.
A play cannot aim to be successful if it is not evocative and does not touch a chord in the spectator's heart. Death And The Maiden by Ariel Dorfman and The Visit by Friedrich Durrenmatt fit the criteria of successful plays because of the masterful and unique manner in which the playwrights have handled the serious issue of grave injustices and the manner in which revenge becomes the sole-driving force in the lives of the protagonists.
Lucas Richman is the in house conductor and music director. He is also a world renounced composer. The orchestra was ready to begin at 2:30pm. The concert played for about 65 minutes without counting the intermission.
