of Lecturer 18 November Chorus Line According to the findings and discoveries of A Chorus Line, the Broadway hit musical made dancing prominent on Broadway when it started in 1975. The motion picture was actually released in 1985 as it was adapted from the success of the Broadway musical. The Chorus Line movie is a historical account of a day in the life of a needy choreographer called Zack in the movie and this role was played by Michael Douglas. Zack along with his dancers auditioned for the eight available spots in his forthcoming show.

According to the movie, the choreographer faces a herculean task when his lover turns up during the auditioning. In the storyline of A Chorus Line movie, as the multitude of dancers narrows, several of the dancers begin to share their life experiences with the audience and the choreographer. The viewers hear their sad tales of rejection, their failures during previous auditions and their development over time in the area of dancing (A Chorus Line). From the short clip that was watched, the first lines of the song, One singular sensation / Every little step she takes.

After that line, they went on to perform more dances and up to their last performance on the 28th of April, 1990 on Broadway at the Shubert Theater in New York, they had performed more than six thousand times (6, 000). This showed the extent at which A Chorus Line really gained ground towards the end of the twentieth century (20th century) (A Chorus Line). The group is just like any other group, but they are actually unique in the way they perform their art. They are organized as they follow a particular pattern.

There is always a message and a story to learn from each performance they render.
