Introduction

The instruments especially the saxophone could be heard clearly all through mainly emphasized the melody. The guitar clearly brought out the rhythm of the musical. The melody, harmony, and rhythm combined to bring a soothing and exiting feeling. The performance was one of the preeminent jazz performances I have attended. The Dan Carillo Quartet
The first performance of the Dan Carillo Quartet ‘Play 1’ featured all the members of the fusion quarter. The specific rhythm of the piece was downbeat with occasional experimental interludes. Indeed, the group made great use of experimental percussion and other such elements as a means of puncturing what otherwise could be considered a pedestrian melody. The quartet began with the singular…
The Life of Mozart

Mozart demonstrated his skills in piano before he was above five years of age. He was honored with the Order of the Golden Spur when he was only thirteen years old. Mozart had an estranged…

The hall was capacity full, which was not a rare spectacle San Diego symphony hall. However, something was different in this particular hall, the huge representation of the young generation. Classical music is preferred by the old and the grown up, whilst the youth love pop concerts and loud clubs. I found this rather different. Many of them were in classical attire, setting the mood for the…
