The Woodstock Art and Music festival The Woodstock was a music and art festival of 1969 which brought together different bands. This functions was the biggest of its kind in those years and managed to bring together a big group of 400,000 people on average. It was held on the open field, created traffic and was muddy especially after the rains. The event took four days and is marked for its peacefulness despite the large crowd. It revealed to the world that young people could be responsible and went against the notion of them being violent.

It created solidarity among the young people. The event managed to bring together different artists in the same platform which showed the importance of cooperation. It also increased the popularity of Rock music. The event indicates music as a way of showing love and creating peace among individuals. There were many best performers in the concert, but my most preferred performance was on the fourth day by Jimi Hendrix. He was a real artist with excellent music that is entertaining especially to the young people.

His performance is outstanding, and he had such a beautiful band that makes his performance unforgettable. He was a great singer and guitarist as is evident from the video. What I enjoyed most is how he plays the guitar, in a unique way as compared to other guitar players I have come across. Despite performing last and to a smaller crowd he became very famous after the event indicating that he won the hearts of many during the event.
