Thus, aligning the strategies of enforcing nurse-patient ratio with the California –mandated staffing ratios will assist me in developing a detailed plan for influencing the state’s legislature to attain greater effectiveness in this context. I wish to undertake the following strategies for influencing the legislative members and initiate change within the healthcare system of the state related to mandated –staffing ratios. In order to foster change within the healthcare system, it is necessary to enter the legislative forum of the state.
