Extract of sample "Quality Health Care"

Quality health care provision is the most important thing in nursing care. In this regard, sufficient nursing staff and quality mentoring form a firm foundation for ensuring that the quality of care provided to patients is effective. In line with this, it is important to point out that the policy for monitoring new nurses in a hospital setup has not been effective since the level of monitoring appears to be low. In this case, new nurses usually learn their way in a hospital setting through practice. Most facilities fail to mentor the new nurses through a mentorship program that would ensure that the nurses become aware of their responsibilities. Conversely, there was insufficient data regarding new nurses who quit citing insufficient support.

During the step of introducing change, age is a variable that can affect the success of implementation. Importantly, it is crucial to eliminate the barriers that hinder the successful implementation of change with age being one of these factors. In this case, this can be attained by ensuring that the stakeholders involved in a program change underwent intense training in order to ensure that they remained motivated and embraced the proposed change. In this case, the age of the program being replaced plays a factor in the way that the stakeholders embraced the new program. On the other hand, the age of the people involved in implementing the change process will also determine its success. In this case, younger people are more responsive to change than older people are. In this case, this barrier can be eliminated by motivating all stakeholders involved in the change process and ensuring that they all identify the importance of implementing the change.
