Borderline Case Mr. Tom Chuck passed his nursing NCLEX exam and was employed as a care nurse in a mental institution. After working for three months, he had been reported to the management by patients for not listening to them.

Related Case Josephine Monroe passed her nursing NCLEX exam and was later hired as a registered nurse in geriatric care hospital. Barely had two years passed before she was voted as the best nurse in the hospital. Prior quitting, Mr. Davies has not furthered his studies and was quite lazy in helping other colleagues at work. Two years after quitting his license expired and never bothered to renew it. He later applied to be reinstated back to active nursing practice after staying out of practice for another five years. Conclusion This concept analysis was undertaken to clarify and identify attributes, antecedents, consequences and empirical referents and relate them directly to mental health nursing and recovery. Model cases were further developed to help in expounding on the concept that either contained the attributes, antecedents and consequences. Identification of both consequences and antecedents was duly done.
