It involves the measurement, recognition as well as the supervision of human performance within an organization (Randhawa, 2007). The major objectives of initiating performance appraisal can be identified in terms of recognizing the strong along with the weak points of the personnel and delivering feedback to them about their working performances over a given period of time (Grobler & Warnich, 2005). The various crucial benefits of performance evaluation include the development of the employees, forming effectual communications with the working staffs and most importantly increasing the motivation of the personnel (DelPo, 2007). In this discussion, a completed evaluation form based on various qualities relating with the performance appraisal for the clinical behaviors deciphered by a nurse has been taken into concern.
