Due to this, nurses are supposed to be aware of the environmental factors that affect the health of a person.

In this course, the student who are pursuing nursing are introduced to the health sector, the hospital sector, health staffing requirements and how various teams contribute to the wellbeing of the patients. This course is very vital as it is the one that introduces the students to the various aspects of nursing such as emergency care, multidisciplinary teams and their roles and purposes, the composition of the health care sector and a general overview into the nursing career.

When they have such knowledge and information, they will have a foundation that is required to succeed in the nursing filed and practice. Technical writing and composition is the other course that students are required to study.
