Searching for information on Google is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Is that true? Was the library of the 19th century more efficient?Explain.  Roughly 1.46 billion people use the Internet. Thankfully, there are tools that you can use, called search engines especially Google search, to make sense of it all. The most popular search engine today can be found is Google. The Google search engine provides us with the tools like Google Scholar, Maps, Book search, Images, Cultures and what not.

Google serves as an almost immeasurable storehouse of data and ideas. At Google all kinds of data and information can be searched out but the only drawback is the authenticity of that information. It can store half truths that masquerade as fact. You might find a great answer to a question online, but because it is not from a reliable source, it may be inaccurate. However the libraries of the19th century were not very easy to access and it was very difficult to find the relevant information. They were also not very updated.

In contrast Google is a very efficient and effective resource to search particular information. Is email dead for teenagers? Explain. Despite the influence that email holds amongst adults as a main mode of personal and professional communication, it is not a predominantly important part of the communication arsenal of today’s youth. Only 14% of all adolescence report transferring of emails to their friends each day, making it the least admired form of daily social communication on the record.

Even among multi-channel youth, who are more likely to take benefit of any communication channel they have access to, just 23% declare they send email to their contacts daily. High school age doesn't utilize email at all, they send archives through AIM and converse with their cell phones, face book and IM. Once they are into the college they are enforced to use email for classes but they hardly ever use it to be in touch with friends. Once graduated from college email is a most important tool for profession searches so they are always using it.

Social networks allow people to connect for a variety of reasons in a digital environment. You might join LinkedIn to meet business contacts, MySpace to find a band member, or Face book to see pictures of old friends and meet new ones. Whatever environment you decide to be a part of, posting information about you has become an issue of concern. What are those concerns? I mean what is the big deal about privacy? Privacy and confidentiality is at all times a concern when you are spending time on the internet.

Social networks expansion as an Internet social networking site has met criticism on a variety of issues, together with online privacy, youngster security, and the incapability to expire accounts without first manually deleting the content. In the year 2008, a lot of companies detached their advertising from such sites as it was being displayed on the pages of controversial individuals and groups. The likelihood of information mining by persons unaffiliated with Face book has been a discomfort, as reported by the fact that 2 MIT students were able to download, more than 70,000 Face book profiles from 4 schools as part of a study project on Face book confidentiality.

In order to deal with security issues to some extent it is necessary that once you become more advanced with such networks only then you should group your contacts into tiers such as Trusted, Family, colleague, and restricted friends. Then you can begin scheming who sees what. But until then, post intelligently and discreetly.  References: 1.   Hoffman, Harrison (August 12, 2007) "Face book’s source code goes public".
