I know that I am a person who gives high value to human life and trust in relationships and love. This could be the one reason which led me to do a police job, in which I had the opportunity to serve my community and society.

I worked as a policeman and definitely enjoyed this profession from the core of my heart. I was happy to be a part of that profession in which I got several chances to fight against the atrocities in society. In 1994, I got promoted as assistant Police band director and continued to be in this job till 2002. This duration was a turning point in my career and life. During my working years as a police officer, I came across many unfortunate incidents where there was a lot of bloodshed and accidents. I could see the pain in the eyes of the victims and there were a number of accidental and emergency cases where the lives of the victims were at risk. This immensely discomforted me and led me to think about a profession in which I can do more to help people in such situations.

My thoughts and understanding provoked me to take up a job that specializes in an emergency situation in hospitals. I pursued ways and methods to get into this profession and was successful in my effort. It did not take much for me to get into a government hospital on an EMT –B level and with this, my life moved on in a different dimension. I realized that this job was more in harmony with my nature and I was getting more and more satisfaction helping people around me. Finally, I felt that I have taken the right step and can plan myself well in this field of work. It was a big relief for me to relate completely with this job and the satisfaction it gave was incredible.

I have been working in Emergency medical care and as an assistant mortician for a few months during my 8 yrs in the hospital. However, I had the idea of contributing more to the people in a different way. The concept which came into my mind was to do a paramedical course. I knew this course could bring out more of the caring nature in me. I can do service to people who are in life-threatening stages and help them in getting back to life. It has been my dream to help people always and also to establish myself in a career which my heart chose.
