Financial Regulatory Reform is based on A New Foundation and was published on the 17th of June 2009 (Walker, 2009, p.1). The main objectives of the recommendations were: promotion of robust supervision and regulation of financial firms; establishment of comprehensive supervision and regulation of the financial markets; protection of the consumers and investors from financial abuse; improvement of the tools for managing financial crisis; and improvement of international regulatory standards and international cooperation. This action is to strengthen the financial structure of the country through the regulation of the individual institutions and the promotion of the interdependence of the financial firms and the participants of the financial system (Morgan Lewis Website, 2009, p.1; US Department of Treasury, 2009).

There are comments and criticisms on the limitations of the Financial Regulatory Reform.
From a personal point of view, the US government made an immediate effort to act upon the financial crisis, thus, it is commendable. This hindered the worsening of the situation. In such a short period, alertness had been a crucial strategy.

In the passage “A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it” there are different issues that can be pointed out. One is lying and another is the hate projected to another.
In terms of lying, though it can seem like a lighter and less serious offense than hate, it is still a malicious act to lie. There are many reasons why a person lies. One of these reasons is to hide his or her shortcomings. In terms of stealing, if a person lies, he/she wants to blame another person to mislead others about his/her crime.
