Let Your Life Speak Family, neighborhood, community, decision makings, choices and a lot more can tell so much important things about a person. An old adage says, ‘Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are’. Allowing you to read me, the people who have molded my character one way or another are worth mentioning. I have been raised in a very respectable family where character is of much importance in relation to success. Success, indeed it is one of the words that defines my family, with a very ambitious mother who has always found time to get me into sports particularly swimming and encouraged me to be the best not only of who I am but among other achievers.

My father is equally ambitious, establishing his own construction company and growing it, making the company one of the best in Turkey. This success has allowed our family to be able to travel around the world, exposing me to the many wonders of engineering as I witnessed different creations of great engineers around the world. The awe and wonder I experienced in our travels placed an indelible mark in my heart and mind that strengthened my desire to follow my father’s footsteps. The family that I have been with all these years seemed to have planned me for success.

I have grown in a home where everything is well organized not only with the things inside the house but including schedules and activities. I was sent to a Math-Science High School for the nourishment of my intellect in preparation to becoming the engineer my family could be proud of. Discipline, among others is a treasure I will hold and cherish which has been emphasized as I was growing up.
