The basin around the area of The Silk Road was multicultural where about 28 different languages existed. Different religions such as Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Buddhism and Judaism with practiced. Conquerors such as Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan visited the Silk Road in search of fame and fortune. Some of the artifacts reflect the influence of Han Chinese culture, while some of the clothing on these artifacts had images from Greek and Roman mythology. Most of the bodies found in this region have Caucasoid features, others come from cultural backgrounds that are yet to be identified.
