It is critical to understand that geographies are wide and pave the way for feminism to harness and grow. One cannot diminish the fact that investments in the projects in which progressivism and change are to be implemented.

Undoubtedly, injustice in small parts of the region for women continues to plague society. The lack of participation in political and economic aspects of women in these rural areas continues to be one of the major obstacles to progressivism. Wright insists that feminist scholars distinguish sex from gender through discourse. While Gender is learned and adapted, the theory behind the sexual difference is varied from culture to culture. The idea of gender “norms” is the critical point that is the catalyst towards the feminist theory itself. The issue of sexism is also correlated with racism as these issues embodied the form of political and social pains that plague American society. Emotion becomes the catalyst as Wright argues to discuss these injustices and propagate for their cause.  Clearly one cannot ignore the fact that women’s rights continue to be the focal point on this issue. Without the major participants in the political sphere, the feminist movement will continue to lack the proper fuel it needs to spread internationally.

As far as cultural bias goes, there was little culture bias present in this article. Much of Wright’s arguments were legit as they were supported by key ideas and figures about how the situation of women around the world. Oppression is widespread all over the globe and must be addressed. These issues can be beneficial because it enables any individual pursuing clinical work to take this approach from a different perspective.
