The major problem for the company is the situation when primary competitors come from online and offline retailers.

The latter suggested products from the higher-value segment of the market in this field. There are several ways chosen by Blue Nile to handle and change this situation. They are the creation of some new designs for jewelry, 2) the encouragement to offer as many discounts and memberships as possible, and 3) the creation of more endorsements. Blue Nile is a merchandiser. Everything in the company functions to achieve the best results in the market.
