It investigates the influence the birds had on 19th century fashion and on today’s modern dance. How both birds and people engage in a variety of decoration, display and dance to draw attention to themselves and at the close relationship between birds of paradise and people. Introduction - overview of content I have imparted my opinion here regarding the exhibit and the knowledge I gained through these experience. There are lots of lessons learned and it opens my mind to things I took for granted before.

It was one of the exhibits I enjoyed so much because of a lot of interactive activities which we enjoyed very much. Exhibition design Entering birds of paradise is an experience of brilliant lives of birds and discovering the people who have shared their lush forest habitats for thousands of years. The exhibition is full of different birds, unusual birds that are not normally found in the cities. Along with these birds that are very entertaining is a music that they sing along with and dance with.

Parts of this exhibition are videos of bird’s interaction, dead birds, bird’s feathers and a lot of information associated with it. But I would like it much if there is also a bird skeleton like the dinosaur on the other part of the museum, for us to be able to see it physically. It may sound creepy though but it will enable us to see what is inside of this creature and how fragile they are. When we were shown a video of dances some birds do, we got excited, drumming with the rap music that followed along the birds dancing or laughing at some of the feather displays.

I think the film was a bit short though as we were just getting excited and then it ended. It was really entertaining and I really enjoy watching that short video. Although the text part was a little boring and not very interesting part of the exhibit because some text are really small, and it feeds a lot of information to the reader but it still turns out to be a very important part of it because it gives us all the information about those creatures especially the birds of paradise. With those information we were able to understand clearly their behavior and how they interact with each other but it would be helpful for us if there would be a print out booklet because information on the museum is a bit forgetful.

Exhibition content There are a lot of interactive activities in the exhibit which is the best part of it. It allows us do things that are both fun and informative. Especially the one that allows us to touch feathers or their twigs and with that we were able to know how it feels like to touch these birds and it was very amazing. You will be able to know how it feels touching them in real life, how soft their feathers are. It is truly a wonderful experience for us because these birds that we saw here are not the usual birds that we see every day or birds that we can see in the city.

They also show us birds that are dead. I was a bit worried about the number of dead birds, and the dead birds that were shown to us. At one point I associated it with sacrilege, but I also understood that these were collected quite some time ago and did hold appreciation for what the Museum was trying to accomplish. What really caught my attention were the different dances that male birds do when they are seducing a female. When they spread their beautiful and colorful wings to try to win a female bird is very fascinating for me.

Male birds of
