A training framework for employees in the application of the basic quality control tools is also created through this process (Tara, 2012). A storyboard is a visual display of the Quality Improvement story and normally it is mounted on a board in the area where the problem is occurring. A QI story has several uses: first, a team is able to organize, gather and analyze the data in a logical manner. Secondly, the progress of the team is also monitored (Tara, 2012). Lastly, the story makes it possible for presentations to be made to the management become standardized since everyone is familiar with the processes.
