As an old saying goes " An apple a day keeps the doctor away", but this saying can be reframed as per today's healthcare environment " An insurance a year makes you live without fear". With Insurance premiums at an all time high, many Americans have opted to forego health coverage for themselves and their families. The primary reason for this revolves around the erratic premiums for healthcare insurances. Its economic influences as it relates to payor groups and its standings, as healthcare produces such high billings, especially to the uninsured.

It is directly proportional to the CMS regulations of the Federal and state government. This affects the healthcare system because these individuals also tend not to get the preventive care needed to stay healthy. When they come into a medical facility and are sick , sometimes that acuity is increased because of the lack of preventative care. Staff reduction and nursing shortage simply add fuel to the fire as they are the backbone of the healthcare.

Amidst this turbulent healthcare system there is some significance that has mushroomed. The Ehealth, expensive prescription drugs, dearth of Nurses have all accounted to a rickety health care environment. But the million dollar question is "Are people ignorant about healthcare insurance"' The answer is some people sacrifice their heatlh for materialistic fancy goods ignoring the fact "Health is wealth". The hospitals are also struggling to balance the disparity between the young and old nurses.

But the system needs reformation as people castigate the government for not managing the economy and government retaliates by increasing the taxes. This is probably not a solution for having better healthcare environment. We have to remember both government and people are complimentary to each other and we have to be in the system to change the system.
