Introduction Earthly life is full of complexities. Work responsibilities have differently complicated issues. Living includes analyzing different alternatives. Humans exist to diversely help in the enhancement of society. Ontology concept espouses major areas of philosophical study. One area delves with the essence of existence (Healy 115). The concept includes determining the existence of dogs, cats, humans, plants, and other animals exist. The concept also discusses the existence of cabbages and apples. For example, Douglas Adams uses his Madagascar experiences to explain how the concept of evolution. Further, ontology focuses on why the above categories exist (Lim 6). Specifically, ontology delves into the reasons why dogs, cats, humans and other animals were placed into our material world. Next, the study of ontology includes determining the significant purpose of the existence of vegetables, fruits, and other plants. Answering the first ontology topic, the person’s describing the physical features and actions shows the existence of the dog, cat, human or other animals (Lim 6). Hearing an animal that barks definitely shows the dog exists. Seeing the animal’s long hair Seeing an animal that has two arms, two legs and speaks Spanish shows a human exists. Seeing an animal gallop indicates the existence of the horse. Next, ontology zeroes in on the reasons for the existence of the above living things (Lim 6). Observing the dog will show that the dog exists to ward off the cat’s intrusion into the dog owner’s home. Likewise, the dog exists to safeguard the dog owner’s car from trespassing thieves. Observing the cat in its own free environment shows the cat exists to eat rats and mice. Eating the rats and mice reduces the pests’ population. With lesser population, people are assured of lesser rodent attacks. Albert Camus is a human Delving in ontology’s existence topic, authentic thinker Albert Camus espoused the philosophical concept of Existentialism (Stewart 63). Existentialism states that each individual uses his or her existence or experiences as the basis for generating the individual’s own philosophies, values, and concepts. People use their preferred philosophies, values, and concepts to add meaning to their existence. Further, different individuals go through different paths add meaning to their lives (Stewart 63). A hungry individual can generate meaning in his life. First, the individual observes how another person cooks food. Next, the individual uses the observation to cook the individual’s food. Consequently, the individual generates meaning in his life by using his learned cooking ability to feed oneself and one’s family. Another example shows that average absurdity-free worker repeat each day’s mundane tasks in order to generate a feeling that working helps feed the hungry mouths of the worker’s loving family. Another human being, Albert Camus, diversely contributes to the enhancement of society. Leo Tolstoy Leo Tolstoy is the author of several world concepts. Tolstoy’s novels include War and Peace, Anna Karenia and How Much Land Does a Man Need (Bloom 9). Aside from novels, Leo Tolstoy advocated the benefits of several philosophical concepts. The concepts include Pacificism, communism, and anarchism. Some countries implemented the concepts espoused by Leo Tolstoy. Leo Tolsoy is a human. Therefore, Leo Tolstoy existed to diversely contribute to the enhancement of society. Epistemology of Ontology Applying epistemology to the discussion, a person’s belief is not grounded on its validity (Healy 115). If a person believes that cats live in order to drink milk, no one should prohibit such person from exercising the drinking milk belief. Other individuals should not question another person’s belief that the dog is the owner’s best friend. Applying the concept to the prior discussions, Albert Camus and Leo Tolstoy should not be branded as liars when they espouse personal interpretations of the concepts. Application of ontology concepts Applying the above concepts to the human mind, everyone has a different interpretation of the human mind’s capacity (Healy 115). One sector may relegate the human mind’s capacity to the level of the dogs. The dog’s mind is focused on finding bones or other food alternatives. The dog’s mind does not prioritize why the universe exists. The dog’s mind is not interested in creating whether there is life in another universe’s planets. Specifically, one can speculate several dangerous ideas. One dangerous idea is the human mind’s lack of capacity to understand a single universe truth. On the contrary, other sectors of society may have their own perceptions of the human mind (Healy 115). One sector may insist that the human mind can easily comprehend why the earth continues to revolve around the round. Likewise, another sector may inquisitively pursue successful research to learn why the organized Milky Way Galaxy’s planets, include our precious earth, do not bump into each other. The atheist’s mind is firmly closed to the Christian persons’ using the bible and other evidences to prove the existence of an invisible God (Putman 2). Similarly, George Lakoff’s metaphor concept indicates different individuals may have different concepts of why marriage exists (existentialism). One individual states marriage exists to procreate. Another individual believes marriage exists as a give and take partnership. A third person may indicate marriage is the culmination of true love, as opposed to infatuation (Lakoff 3). Analysis Based on the above discussion, each person exists to believing espouse one’s own dangerous idea (Pappas 221). One idea may delve on the preference for the atheistic world. Another person may insist that good works, not religion, will bring eternal happiness. A third person may propose too much government control translates to lesser democratic alternatives. A fourth person may propose same sex marriage should be banned. For example, Karl Marx strongly stated that the communist government, not the democratic government, better serves the poor man’s basic needs. Finally, one abused and battered wife may dangerously insist spouse equality must be implemented. Conclusion Life is a complicated process. The human mind tries to fathom each environmental input. The above concepts explain how the human mind processes incoming information. Different minds generate different preferences.
