## Extract of sample Vector addition : graphs and components

Understanding vectors and how they add up is a very important basic knowledge that is required in almost every field of physics. In this experiment we used a force table to mark the vectors and then measured the angle readings from the marked scale. Mass and hence the weight of the hanging were also noted. The vectors were resolved in the x and the y components by considering two perpendicular Cartesian axes. These components formed the opposite and the adjacent sides of a right angle triangle. By using the measured theta, the components were resoled using trigonometric ration as follows;
We compare the two different methods of combining vectors. We studied and measured the parameters of both forms. In table 3.2 shows the resolved magnitude and direction of vectors. The resultant net force was found to be 0.0365N with associated uncertainty as 0.02935. This uncertainty seems to be very large. In the second part, we performed the tail to head addition and the results was close to a closed triangle. Taking the large error into consideration, the geometrical addition will form a closed triangle, indicating that the net force which acts on an object at equilibrium is ...Show more

## Summary

A force table was used to perform the investigation by graphically marking the vectors and later confirming the results, algebraically, that the resultant force acting on a…

Investigating the effects of mutation on active site amino acids of beta-lactamase
Generally, there are two ways of producing modified proteins. Usually, turns and loops are the first areas of interest while considering engineering of new binding sites. Modifications are done either by creating new binding sites introducing random mutations on the surface of strands, helices or randomization of already existing regions that connect secondary structures.

Moreover, the GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) gene usually exists naturally in the form of specialized photogenic cells found in the jellyfish Aquorea Victoria umbrella. This fluorescent protein can also be expressed in the bacteria, Escherichia coli. When the fluorescent protein gets exposed to U.V light source of long wave band, it produces a green light.

Career Services and Placement are major Components to connect students between the academic program and the workplace
In 2002, the University of Missouri-Columbia recognized a need for a placement service to help its Liberal Arts undergraduates secure job opportunities. In "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Developing Placement Services for Liberal Arts Undergraduates," Amanda Nell writes about the process of creating the department.

Vector and Statics
A vector is an amount that has both magnitude and direction. Illustrations of vectors are speed, acceleration, and force. While it is simple to include, duplicate, or subtract scalars, vector expansion, it is not direct to increase and subtract.
