Teacher Emergence of Novel Scientific Ideas In order to accelerate the validation of new ideas and theories, the community must have the habit of testing the ideas, theories and hypothesis through study and experiment. Ideas should not be validated by popular opinion and belief and unless it is proven and validated by a scientific inquiry can it be accepted as valid. The community must have the scientific mind and attitude. That means that we are willing to test and inquire the validity of opinions, beliefs and hypothesis through scientific process.

It begins with the hypothesis that will be tested, the scientific method that will be used, evaluation of result and scientific conclusion. To be specific, we can take the case of the beginning of life on this planet. This scientific question has not yet been resolved and many of us still hold the notion that God and his magic wand created it in 7 days. This is the same manner that we held the same idea that earth was round and center of the universe as enforced by church authorities before.

Efforts are now on its way to trace the beginning of life by the Rosetta exploration of The European Space Agency. It seeks to study and validate the beginning of life by establishing a connection that the elements of life on earth came from outer space through the comets. Our attitude must be open minded, critical and welcome the progress of this exploration which would help formulate new theories that would make our interpretation of the world and the universe around us more valid.
