First Sur Climate Change Impacts the United s The article considers climate change to be an issue that people expected to be influential in the future. However, it affects the present lives of individuals as manifested by the signs witnessed today. The farmers in the USA including oyster growers, corn producers, and syrup producers are all subject to change of climate. Water managers in the arid regions of the Southwest have felt and equal measure of the fury of the changing climate. In the midst of all concerns, the National Climate Assessment body concludes that there is evidence of artificial climate change inducement.

This evidence continues to strengthen, and the influences are increasing across the country. There are several changes noticed by Americans all around them. The have started noticing longer and hotter summers. On the other hand, the winters are shorter and warmer while rains come in heavy downpours. There are also ranges of changes in the length of harshness of seasonal allergies, variety of plants that thrive in the gardens and the types of birds that they notice in the environment at a time.

There are other serious changes in the patterns of flooding especially in the coastal cities. These coastal cities frequently flood during high tides and storms. Inland cities as well, do flood especially in the Midwest and the Northeast. Due to the hotter and drier weather, wildfires start early in the west and snow also melts down often. Climatologists confirm that the changes are in accordance with the vital alterations of weather conditions in the world. Independent weather information from the satellites, weather stations, ocean buoys and tide gauges all confirm the postulation.

The patterns of precipitation changes and the sea level are rising. The acidity of the ocean is also on the rise. The climatic changes trigger a range of impacts throughout the economy and in the region. Some of the climatic changes are beneficial in the short-run such as longer seasons of shipping in the Great Lakes. However, most of the effects are detrimental because the infrastructure is designed for climate change that usually exists and not the rapidly changing one expected in the future.

Currently, alterations in the climate affect American in far-reaching ways. A given type of extreme weather occurrences with connection to climatic change are frequent and intense including extended periods of heat, droughts, floods and torrential downpours. Additionally, warming is causing the level of the sea to rise as the glaciers and the Arctic sea ice melt. The oceans also become more acidic due to the absorption of carbon dioxide. Coupled with other aspects of climatic change, these factors disrupt individuals lives and damage the sectors of the economy of the US and the world.

The document reports the changes observed and those projected for the future. It stresses that the findings and the options for response are shared broadly to inform communities and citizens of the nation.
