Therefore, there is need to develop and use more probabilistic forecast systems in place of the independent deterministic forecast systems
The relationship between climate prediction and geophysics comes from the fact that the climate prediction process relies on the knowledge and scientific understanding of various geophysical processes that influence the behavior of the atmosphere and the oceans. The processes are basically taken to be a complex fluid systems and it is such systems which are modelled through computer simulations to help predict weather.
