Many psychologists have been working in this area of human nature to extract out the facts about the acts of bullying. The spread of rumors is also a form of bullying that may leave other people with a sense of not trusting anyone again. According to research, cases of bullying happen at every seventh minute in playgrounds and in a classroom, it occurs once every 25 minutes. Therefore, this act is more focused on by psychologists and sociologists, as they understand the consequences of bullying others.

Cyberbullying is also becoming one of the common forms of bullying across the world, which has been affecting the youth through the spread of emails and text messages. Therefore, it can be said that schools and other educational and sports institutions must need to take initiative to eradicate the issue of child bullying (Harris, 2009).The effects of bullying are drastic, as it has the strength to affect everyone including the person being bullied and the person who bullies others. Those people may also be affected by the situation who witness bullying.

The problem leaves its impact on the psychology of the people in long run, as long-term emotional impacts may influence the people. The intensity of the phenomenon of bullying is required to be measured; therefore, its long-term and short-term impacts are aimed to be investigated in the research study. Additionally, it has been seen that the childhood of a person is one of the most common victims of bullying that may affect the adult lives of the people who were being bullied as children. The impacts of bullying are too severe as long-term emotional damage is usually found as the consequence of bullying.

Moreover, it has been observed that there are short terms impacts of bullying that trigger the long-term impacts to be penetrated in the life of people (Marin, 2011).The reason behind picking this social issue is the increasing cases of bullying in schools and playgrounds. The situation has been found severe enough to grab the attention of the people because it has been estimated that around 200 million children throughout the world are bullied. The figures appeared threatening the social environments of the USA, Australia, and regions of the UK.
