Organizational consulting Organizational consulting Organizational consulting is an important field in identifying and solving problems in an organization. In the first scenario, Ali the senior executive is informing Sarah that indeed there exists a problem in the organization and he thinks that, he knows the problem. Sarah on the other hand, inquires whether Ali’s wife is fine or not. She brings a topic that does not help in addressing the issue of turnover (Maister, 2004). Mary in the second scenario carries out blame games.

She is accusing Jesse of suffocating her space to a level where she does not have time for herself. Jesse comes up with assumptions; he thinks that, the reason why Mary wants her space is for the sake of her boyfriend. He wants to do things not to his benefit but, to Mary’s advantage, assuming that this will solve Mary’s problems (Ballock, 2004). In the third scenario Steve is seen be delivering information. He is mainly involved in delivering information from the managers to the consultants and vice versa.

Consequently, Robert plays the role of consulting in the fourth scenario, through his questions it is clear that, he is interested in discovering where the problem in the organization is emanating from so that he can address the issue of lack of teamwork among workers. The police inform Monique that, he is aware of her speeding and the measures he intends to take against her. I consider Robert to be the most useful person to the company that employed him. This is seen through his approach of solving the company’s problems of ensuing teamwork (Maister, 2004).

This is called consulting, for he tries to identify the problems that might be leading to disunity in the company. Through this problem, he will be able to decide on what measures to take in solving the problem. In conclusion, teamwork among workers is vital as it helps in delivery of quality goods and services. In addition, it is one avenue through which an organization meets its goals.ReferencesBallock, C. (2004). Thought leadership: Making sense of what consultants do. Fombrun & NevinsMaister, H. (2004).
