?Topic: Case Study of an Emerging Adult who is a member of the Millennial Generation The emerging adult is a member of the Millennial Generation. Theresearch focuses on the millennial adult learning. The research determines how the millennial person acts in terms of studying one’s classroom lessons. The Millennial baby has a diversely happy person who is willing is focused on information technology to increase one’s academic knowledge. Correspondent’s profile: Age 28, Gender, Male, Ethnicity, Asian American, married, with two lovely children. I am a registered voter. I am currently self-employed I have health care insurance. I have many friends, mostly within my millennial generation group. Judith Bonaduce (2011) opined Florence Nightingale organized the Candle as the United States’ symbol of the nursing profession. The nursing profession uses the candle on different venues, especially the nursing profession. The Millennial students of the 21st Century, in today's higher education setting, specifically in the nursing, would benefit from applying its symbolism in the classroom and in their nursing careers. The concepts of technology, discovery, and meeting as one nation group nation are discussed as they relate to nursing education and to Florence's candle of caring. In terms of becoming an adult, Michael Coomes (2011) stated the diversely characterized millennial generation correspondent is a happily married person. As proof, the correspondent shows pictures of his two young and lovely children. He has relaxing job that is able to pay the rent, electricity, water, food, and extras for travels to another city. Becoming an adult is a very challenging activity. Job satisfaction may differ from one person when compared to another person’s interpretation. Job satisfaction may mean an above-average salary. Job satisfaction may mean less stress. Job satisfaction includes being the best employees for each month of the year. Job satisfaction may include working in comfortable office building. Job satisfaction may mean having an easy job to accomplish. Job satisfaction may include having a challenging job. This is what many of my millennial generation friends often tell the survey correspondent. Victor Wang (2010) mentioned the person has metamorphosed from the childish thoughts and activities to the more mature roles. Mature roles include finding a job. Maturity includes studying the lessons in class. Maturity is another term for the transition is “in-between”. Normally, the adult person is someone is eager to learn more of the world surrounding the new visitor. Who has reached the ripe age of 18? On the other hand, the young person is something who has not reached the age of 18. The correspondent defines a mature person as someone who has responsibility and can take care of one’s responsibility in the most ethical and appropriate manner. However, a handful of my millennium group friends have additional meanings for the word maturity. They say that maturity has to say no when no the right answer is. No means saying no to drugs. No means refusing to take heroine offered by drug addicts. No means saying no to persuasions to commit illegal acts. No means never to cheat during the school exams. Most persons would agree. Maturity can come in the form of having a responsibility at home. The mature sibling looks up to the parents for guidance. In turn, the parents of the millennial child are hungry for affection. Paris Strom (2011) announced higher education is no longer restricted to the most talented segment of society. More than 70 percent of Millennial prefer to attend college. Many even boldly took advantage of available education loans to finance their high school and college studies. Going to school, many of the Millennial received threats during their educational duties. The threats include media reports of drugs taken by young children and young adults. The Millennial also experienced dating abuse, gang wars. The Millennial seek to avoid the same miserable circumstances their parent failed to resolve during their younger days. The correspondent ascribes his ideas come from friends and relatives of his age. The correspondent is 30 years old. He is working as a freelance accountant. Because of information technology, the young people take shorter time to become adults. With the barrage of information from the internet, the adult eagerly searches for the latest news, trends, and other relevant information. In the past, computers were not so popular. Thus, the adults of the past were old- fashioned. On the other hand, the adults of today marry early, have good- providing parents, help others in need, and own a home. Likewise, many adults of today are very religious. Others have a high-paying career. In addition, people, like me graduated from college. Most adults of the millennial generation are highly educated. In addition, the correspondent mentions that adults of his age own cell phones and do not have landline phones. The correspondent replies, as a Millennial, myself, the five characteristics of a millennial person are ingrained the Millennial person, me. I am a happy person, i have more than enough friends. I have enough friends to help me during business dealings and times of need. In terms of life’s goals, i want to ensure the college education of my children. I am currently saving for the college education of my two young kids. In addition, i want to save money to put up my own business after i retire. Indeed, my life goals are important to my well-being and sense of a meaningful and good life. Part III. The correspondent replies, people of my age share similar beliefs, attitude, and experiences. The basis is that we grew up together. In addition, some of our similar beliefs include watching the David Letterman television show together. Similar beliefs include having the same religious beliefs. Similar beliefs include importing the same ideology. We grew up in the same community together. We normally drink bear together. Play chess together. We go camping together. We voted for the same President Obama as President Bush’s replacement to solve the current financial crisis. The generations before the millennial generation feel life will end within a few short years. They believe that they have to focus more on religious life as the end of their earthly life draws near. I am optimistic that my generation will have a better future than the generations that have gone ahead of me. With the advent of computers, my fellow Millennial will have higher chances of increasing our happiness. In addition, optimism means having more talents and abilities to solve the more complex issues of society. The more complex issues of society are global warming, dwindling fossil oil supply, and extremist terrorism. In addition, our millennial generation shares many commonalities within the United States. We all feel the crunch of the current economic crisis. We feel the future will become brighter as the years wear on. The crystal blue sky will soon replace the murkiness o f the current economic situation enveloping the United States. My millennial generation friends share the same commonalities with young adults from other countries. Life in the future in America will soon be much worse unless my millennial generation age group members transfer to another country that is far economically better than the United States. The survey correspondent replies my generation will live in a country that is far better than my current nation’s economic status. Thus, young Americans, including myself, must have a take-charge attitude. Thus, I strongly believe that the millennial generation must do their best to change the course of American economic history. We must go out of our way to reduce the unemployment rate. We must do our best to increase gross domestic production. We must do our best to ensure the country will smoothly enter a transition phase into economic prosperity. My Millennial generation should have better opportunities to make a difference to generate structural change than prior generations. It is true that if we, the Millennial generation members will wait for a more opportune time to do our small share to reverse the current business climate. In addition, the people of my generation have better opportunities to make a difference and produce structural change than prior generation classifications. Thinking about the many challenges facing the United States, I feel the best way to address the challenges is through cooperation. The old saying “united we stand, divided we fall” is true yesterday, today, and tomorrow. With a united stand, the millennial generation can help each other by contributing one’s abilities to achieve the goals and objectives of the group. For example, the millennial group would espouse that the government should aid in lowering the cost of health insurance. The lower health insurance cost will make health services reach the unhealthy sector of United States society. All Americans from all generation groups should join hands to help each other cushion the effects of the current economic depression covering the United States. The survey correspondent replies the second best way it to combine financial assets to ensure the economic recovery will crop up in the earliest possible time. By combining assets, more businesses will crop up. With more businesses, the companies will generate more sales. With more stores, many citizens will have job opportunities. With more job opportunities, more workers will have money to buy goods and services. With more goods and services bought, more stores will crop up. With more stores cropping up, the economic wheel will run on faster speed. In addition, the millennial group will strive to search for non-fossil fuel to light the home during the night and warm the family home during the freezing cold winter nights. It is our belief that the earth’s fixed supply of fossil oil is limited. Thus, the fossil oil will expire earlier than expected. With the geometric growth of the population, the public’s demand for the oil increases in geometric manner. Fossil oil compass protection. The fossil oil issue is grounded on the demand for oils to run the in the same manner. Our current political and corporate leaders are definitely abusing their power for selfish gains, wasting America’s resources for their own short-term gain and threatening the country’s long-term security. Each political figure prioritizes filling their pockets with hard cash. The political figures’ second priority is making the community a better place to live in. There are many things happening in the United States today. First, a group of brave young men are enjoying each other’s company. Likewise, another group is singing romantic pongs to the young lass passing across the street in broad daylight. The third group is busy occupying the Wall Street district. The strikers are seriously bent A person joining the group may have to adjust to the group’s activities. The new member is encouraged to imitate the other members of the group. However, a few members may stay on the sidelines to watch while the leaders try to make a change the community’s current struggle of life. Some of the people may agree to watch the soccer game. A third group is mandate. In addition, Susan Sham (2004) the survey correspondent reply the future is what one makes. The future is dependent on the person’s prerogatives in life. The lazy person can sleep the whole day and wait for luck to shine on him or herself. The hardworking person will do one’s best to make the most out of every situation. The best way for the Millennial adult to learn is to focus on interactive learning. Management emphasizes that Interactive learning is useful using computer processing software. The hardworking person is someone who maximizes all scarce resources to make life better. Further, Susanne Bajt (2009 ) stated the survey conducted on millennial students indicated that there is no significant difference between learning in a classroom environment and learning from an online internet-based course. The students studying in both the online and physical campus locations need money to feed their hungry stomach. In addition, the study showed that there is no learning capacity difference between persons belonging to the millennial age group, baby boomer group, or any other group. The findings this study showed a positive relationship between structure and satisfaction for the millennial online learning student. Consequently, the internet technologies are very instrumental improving the millennial group member’s learning speed and learning capacity. In addition, Patricia Kahn (2007) stated the millennial student uses the adaptive information technology to gather academic data increase one’s academic scores. The Millennial student generates his or her data from many available sources. The Millennial student can also be the student of the 21st century. In the same light, Stephen Brookfield ( 2005) mentioned the adult teachers have to muster enough strength to teach the adult students, especially the millennial students, the lessons taught in the college class. The adult teachers have to adapt to the fast learners. In the same manner, the company must reduce the lesson speed in order for the slow learners to comprehend the adult lessons for the day. Based on the above discussion, the emerging adult is one of the members of the Millennial Generation. The Millennial is eager to pursue adult learning. The Millennial person is eager to go to school to learn how to survive in the complicated world outside the four walls of the classroom. Indeed, the Millennial adult is a diversely happy person willing to focus on information technology to increase one’s academic knowledge. Bibliography: Bajt, S. (2009 ).
