However when it comes to my personal response on how my sexuality has been shaped up over the years, I need constant guidance through my own actions as well as the people who are very close to me. The identity development in terms of sexual aspects that does come about with a great deal of understanding and hence this is a case in point as far as comprehending how things go. I have based my beliefs on my own self and the manner in which I have perceived life in more ways than one. My personal response is therefore severely limited to what I have learned up till now and what I have been able to make of the changing time dimensions.

Sexuality for me was taught by my parents as well as my teachers. As for the effects of environmental and historical perspectives, I believe everything happens in a very basic form first. During childhood, they removed any confusion which I might have developed at a later stage by detailing the sex studies which remains a very important barometer within the related domains. My school was vocal in its claim that sexual understandings were important to develop within a child and that we, as children, needed to learn the intricate details so that we could mold our lives in accordance with the set values and principles which govern any society in essence.

From the development of love and relationships, I was taught that having pre-marital sex is a sin and that it could lead to a number of problems for my body at such a tender age. It also exactly pinpointed as to how I should lead my life in accordance with the moral and ethical ways, and how this would eventually help me settle a number of things within my up coming life. Sexuality therefore comes out as a major pointer within my life since I learned so much at an early age, and this provides me room to analyze things which would not have been possible had I not been taught the intricate details at the very beginning.

Sexuality is a personal topic but it must be discussed openly with the people who matter the most – the kids in retrospective. The role of the media was also important as it made me distance myself from the notions which were going to be destructive in nature from the outset. It made me understand the different ideologies which surrounded the lives of the people who were sexually in some form of discomfort or had little comprehension with regards to the very same at one point or the other. Since I had been taught about the common concerns regarding my body, I was at ease with what I needed to do and what I ought to forbid myself from (Diamant 1995).

This asked for an absolute abhorrence for masturbation, sex play and so on. I knew for sure that I would have intercourse only after I get married and this was the right thing to do as far as my life was related. Things were set up in a proper way and this has continued for quite a long time now. Sexual pleasure is another tangent that was discussed within the related study domains as it made me understand the difference between the acceptable and the simply unacceptable at this point in time within my life.

Therefore my sexual development has been done in a proper procedural way which puts me in a better position than my peers who have little or absolutely no knowledge of the subject at hand. My orientation has remained straight since I was taught that this is the most correct form of orientation one can have for a better and clean life. I was taught that one can
