Effects of stress on health and aging: Two paradoxes Introduction Research article composed by Aldwin and Yancura develops the hypothesis on the association of stress with health and aging. In particular, this article emphasizes on the impact of stress on aging and health of a person. It has been noticed that stressful moments are not an issue for old aged people due to having years of experience of handling stressful situations and not due to their aging. This research article specifically highlights various positive impacts of stress on the growing age and better health condition of the people rather than seeking and addressing the negative impacts of stress on aging and health.

Statement of Research ProblemIn order to carry out a research on any particular area, there is a need to clarify what actually is the problem that needs to be addressed in that research. Problem identification and its comprehension in the form of problem statement, provides a better framework for the researcher to highlight the critical issues pertaining to that research. Research problem mentioned in this research is quite ambiguous as the researchers have not provided a clear statement as what they are going to address in this research.

Whether the researchers are interested in finding out the association of stress with aging and health, or they are mainly interested in diagnosing the causal effect relationship between these variables, or they have intended to undertake the exploratory form of research to find out different patterns of these variables, all these issues bring the element of vagueness in establishing the true problem of this research.Description of Research MethodologyThe research methodology adopted in this research article is laboratory based methodology in which a particular group of people are interviewed and asked questions regarding how they perceive stress, aging, health and their various combinations in various aspects.

These kinds of researches lack in validation because the results obtained from a very small sample are generalized to a large population. The samples drawn in this study do not even constitute to 1% of the population.Flaws in Procedural DesignThe procedural design adopted by the researchers in this study pose significant ambiguities. The procedural design failed to present a concrete and vivid orientation of the variables in question. The researchers underwent the laboratory research with such a complicated procedural design that the generalization of the true and concise results of the study has been compromised.

Analysis of DataVarious sorts of tests are conducted to find out the distinct impacts of stress on aging and health, but most of the results of those tests provided the contradictory findings which made it difficult to conceive the real findings of this analysis. In this way, the analysis presented by the researchers lack clear and concrete facts because of variability and inconsistency of the tests conducted to gather the relevant data.Limited and Justifiable Conclusion Conclusion summarises all the important findings and results of the respective research paper and presents the overall outlook of the research.

Conclusion has not been provided in this research paper which is a major component of a research paper. Absence of conclusion in such an abrupt manner made it difficult for the analysts and other researchers to conceptualize the basic outline of this study.
