Creativity and its relationship to education Affiliation: The article by Alenizi about “assessment of creativity in education” is a research based in UK about how creativity and creativity theories are and still can be used in learning experience of especially children who have disabilities and those with learning difficulties. According to the article, creativity is defines in terms of art, craft, design, dramatic plays among others. The creativity theories under discussion and which have different positive effects on the children are psychoanalytic, behaviorist, social cognitive, personality trait and phenomenological tradition theories (Alenizi, 2008).

The research findings of this research are that despite these theories testing different learning concepts in an individual and their influences, much research is needed in this area because of the many learning disabilities present in different children influenced by different factors. The conclusion however is that creativity is wide and should be tested on different basis. The other article is by Guyton and focuses on the use of toys to support learning and development in infants-toddlers. This research suggests that the use of toys is essential for the learning of infants because of the unique interests infants take in selected toys.

Playing with toys is said to enhance cognitive, emotional and social development of children from their infancy period (Guyton, September, 2011).According to the article, teachers are the best when it comes to learning through toys and play because they spend most of the time with the toddlers and have specialized skills and knowledge to handle such children in terms of the toys they are playing with and the ones they have developed interest in. Children also trust teachers and learn through observing and imitating them and this is helpful in the learning of the child.

The conclusion of the article is that toys are useful and essential for learning development of young children with the help and supervision of their teachers as their age increase.ReferencesAlenizi, M.
