Preemie Care Application Preemie Care Application At the beginning of birth, premature babies or infants find it hard to survive. In order to improve and raise their survival rates, caregivers need to increase infants’ sleep periods and weight. Via the Preemie care application, lighting will be fitted around social places with the light stage linked with the social participation and the dark stage linked with disengagement or nonparticipation. Therefore, Pediatric physicians, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NCIU) managers, and families with premature babies would utilize this application as a significant aspect of premature infant care.

By rendering the premature infant to social interaction and light cycles, it will experience a rise in sleep period and weight that in turn will infants chances of living or survival. From the discussion, it clear that utilization of this application would be beneficial to infants since exposure to external environment enhances their inner synchronization. For instance, things such as entertainment have been applied to show the importance of external environment. Entertainment via stage-by-stage influence, infants survival rates increase since new surrounding would look like average womb condition.

IntroductionIt is significant to note that there are some other factors apart from light that can affect the cycle rate of circadian growth or development in both premature and grown babies or infants. Contemporary theory asserts that socialization cycles offer infants with the structure to establish interim expectancies that organize affective and cognitive experiences. The most significant social engagement is the mother and child interaction. During tender ages, mother’s attention towards an infant is very vital to formation of a strong character.

Research has shown that times of non-attention from the mother permit the infant to synthesize information attained during social interaction stage. By ensuring constant interaction between the infant and care, it is possible for the infant’s actions to increase. This is because social interactions are biological cycles in nature that seems to alternate around averages in order enable forecast of habitual environmental events with like times. Recurring consistency has been shown to take place when the mother-infant contact occurs on a usual basis, but may disrupt rhythm progress if the infant is not able to forecast relations (Lester, Hoffman, & Brazelton, 1985).
