Abstinence sex education Abstinence sex education believes in teaching children about how to keep themselves away from sexual activities in order to control HIV from spreading,avoid pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. It focuses on the following areas: Abstinence from sexual activity is the only way to stay safe from HIV Aids and STDs. The only way to avoid unplanned pregnancy is to become sexually active after marriage. Sexual activities before marriage can have harmful physical effects on your body. Excessive use of drug can make you weak for fulfillment of sexual desires. Comprehensive sex education Comprehensive sex education approaches to explain to teens that it is always better to delay sex unless they are emotionally and physically ready for it. Guidance about how they can protect themselves from harmful infections and unwanted pregnancy is also given to students. This approach aims at creating awareness about how one can fight the urge for having sex and wait until the time they believe they are ready for it.
