The biological factor is a reference from the fact that, most of those suffering from PPD have relatives suffering from schizophrenia. Schizoid and Schizotypal disorders also do not have a known cause but are also related to Schizophrenia. The PPD can be treated by combining psychology therapy and medicine (Martel, 2012). First and foremost, the patient has to accept that he/she has a problem. The conventional medicinal types administered are; Antipsychotics, Antidepressants and Benzodiazepines (Martel, 2012).

For schizoid and schizotypal disorders, the treatment is mainly psychotherapy Cluster B. It can be summarized to comprise of those disorders that are mainly behavioral and affects the patient’s life socially. An example of a type of disease that fall into this category is the Histrionic Personality Disorder. A characteristic feature about those suffering from this cluster of personality disorder is that they live in denial. They tend not to seek medical attention. But If they do, psychotherapy is used to treat them.

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder. Those suffering from it have lost contact with the reality. They are always suspicious of everyone and may sometimes withdraw from others. They may also sometimes speak in very strange, peculiar and confusing ways (Smith&Seagal, 2015). The perspectives of the etiology and treatment of the disorder can be summarized as follows; Studies taken, confirm that most of those who suffer from schizophrenia, have inherited it (Faraone and Tsuang, 1997). This may be direct from their parents who may have had the disorders at one point of their life or great-grandparent.

The disorder is carried forward by their genes (Faraone&Tsuang, 1997). Studies have been conducted to know whether schizophrenia is inheritable by use of identical and fraternal twins.
