The perception of people is different due to the diverse ways in which people’s brains are conditioned (Moskowitz 16). Perception refers to the way people look at reality and the interpretation they make. The results differ from one person to another. There might be similarities in the way people perceive the world and the events that take place. The diverse economic, political, social and psychological perspectives of world events confirm the undeniable differences in people’s senses. People confirm clues and illusions from the convictions they have about the reality of the matter at hand.

Perception causes people to view the world differently. Each person has a variant view of the world through a pair of contact lenses. The contact lenses are used to reflect on the flaws, fears, beliefs, and identities (Moskowitz 17). What a person sees masks how they view the reality. For example, a person who views himself as short will concentrate on short and tall persons more than obese and skinny people. The conviction based on flaws beliefs; fears and identities defined the analysis of the assassination of Malcolm X.

While a legion of Americans knew that civil rights and oppressions for blacks by whites were the main factors in play, others saw it as a struggle for leadership. People came up with varied opinions on the role of Malcolm in the leadership of America during his reign and his involvement in the fight for equality. People from different races and political divide discussed his death through various perspectives. The probable causes of his death were high turbulence and thirst for leadership.
